Ellie joined Newfields in January 2022 as a Paralegal, and supports organisations in the business and health sectors.

Sitting in the firm’s health and care team, Ellie is one of the main points of contact to assist with the Skilled Worker sponsorship process. She prepares and manages sponsor licence applications for local care providers to global health businesses on a volume scale, advising employers on all sponsorship and right to work queries whilst leading the complex visa applications for those working in health and care.

Outside of her work in health and care, Ellie advises organisations in other regulated sector, including finance, accounting and venture capital, in addition to private individuals on family-based routes.

In her spare time, Ellie volunteers at a Cardiff law clinic, and enjoys travelling, and sports. She is a fluent Welsh speaker and is open to taking instructions through the medium of Welsh.

From September 2023, Ellie will be taking a period of study leave to complete her SQEs at the University of Law. She will be returning full-time in October 2024. During her time away from the first, Ellie will be undertaking key business development responsibilities.
