Immigration Law Academy

The Immigration Law Academy is a new, practical course delivered by immigration lawyers at Newfields and expert guests.

The Academy began on Wednesday 5 February 2025 and comprised 8 recorded lectures, with live virtual Q&A sessions answering questions on each lecture. Newfields will be running an updated Immigration Law Academy in early 2026, with dates to be confirmed.

On completing the course, 10 participants will be offered office-based summer placements at Newfields, enabling students to apply course knowledge and support a legal career with expert immigration lawyers.  Our first cohort have recently completed their placement with Newfields.

Participants can also enhance their CVs with graduation certificates accredited by Welsh Government.
