Shannon is the Director of HR & Global Mobility at Newfields, leading the Firm’s specialist HR service for professional football clubs and sport‑sector organisations. She supports clubs with a wide range of HR needs, from day‑to‑day people management and policy work to player and staff mobility, GBE considerations and the HR demands that sit behind transfer window activity.
She brings broad HR leadership experience from the professional football environment, having overseen people operations, player and coaching staff matters, recruitment, performance, wellbeing, and employment and immigration compliance at a Scottish Premiership club. Her background also includes managing transfer related administration, coordinating domestic and international player movements through regulatory systems, and ensuring compliance with football and immigration requirements.
A Level 7 CIPD qualified HR professional, Shannon focuses on practical, commercially minded HR solutions that help clubs build strong people structures and operate confidently under pressure. She is also a committed (and long suffering) New York Giants fan, following football on both sides of the Atlantic.
Outside work, she enjoys travelling and keeping up with both the Premier League and the NFL.
